How do you collect tuition?

Among the instructors on E-Budo, I'm curious to know the most widely used method of collecting tuition.

In my dojo, most of the instructors help my instructor out with the paperwork where we can, and for the past year, I have been active in the management aspect of the dojo (no easy task and often underappreciated). My instructor just recently changed how he collects payments. He used to do the over-the-counter check collecting, but that quite honestly was a major hassle. I hated having to chase people around for payment, but in order to keep the dojo open, it needed to be done. Lately we have been using EFT's (electronic funds transfers) to automatically withdraw the amount once a month from people's checking accounts. Its a lot easier in that you don't have to waste time chasing people around to pay, it always takes out the correct amount, and it leaves a lot less time doing paperwork and more time doing what matters, karate.
