I need straw sandals, not zori, but the tie on kind. The many asian scholars I work with can't help. My first post to this forum got an instant response. Maybe the martial arts community can help with sandals.

I doubt you will be able to find anything bigger than a size 10 (28cm). I have this size, and experience often enough trouble buying, rather getting excactly the size shoe I would like... (regular shoes). I have not come across waraji bigger than a ten...

This place sells the waraji you are looking for. E-mail them and tell them what size you need they do some custom sizeing and they might be able to make you the size you need.
