Hi,
I've just moved to London, and I'm trying to find a Jiu Jitsu club either close to the city center or Baker St. or
up North near Sudbury, Harrow, that general area.
Thanks for your time.

I personally don't know any addresses but try the following organisations they should be able to put you in touch with an instructor in your area:
United Kingdom Jujutsu International Martial Arts Association
http://www.neglobal.co.uk/ukjjai
British Tai Jutsu Kai
http://www.jjkumite.demon.co.uk/tjk.html
World Jujutsu Federation
http://members.aol.com/wjjf523/corporateprofile.index.html
http://www.holt3.demon.co.uk/index-page2.html
I cannot recomend any of the instructors associated with the above organisations in the UK, but as a member of the WJJF, I suppose I should say they have a good standard.
If you do find someone you can always ask here and we may have heard of them.
Regards
Neil

It's Kodokan judo rather than jujutsu, but you might try:
* The Budokwai. The URL is http://www.budokwai.org , and it is the oldest judo organization in Britain. (It started in 1918; early members included E.J. Harrison and its most famous recent instructor was Trevor Leggett.)
* The Judokan. The club was founded by Percy Sekine and his wife (the latter is the daughter of Gunji Koizumi), and the URL is http://www.judokan91-london.co.uk/sekine.htm . An article about Sekine's WWII POW camp judo club appears at JNon-Lethal at http://ejmas.com .
* The London Judo Society. This is Syd Hoare's club, and the URL is http://www.judojudo.com/ .
Even if you don't want to do what they do, these people know everybody, and can probably point you to someone reputable.
Denise,
I can reccomend http://www.jitsufoundation.demon.co.uk
Actually to clarify, I'm not a huge fan of the site, but having trained in the art for nine years I'm quite attached to it !!
There are a number of London Dojo's, I'm afraid I don't know London well enough to say which is closest to the areas you mentioned.
If you want any more info on the art please feel free to contact me offline - robert.wallis@hotmail.com
