I have just got back for my trip to your fare land.
While there I was unable to make my planned trip to Bugei Trading due to some obscure holiday you all obverse over there, 4Th of July!
Anyway I have sent off for their catalogue, so that will have to do.
But on the way back to the land down under my wife and I stopped off in Waikiki for a couple of days (breaks up the 19 hour flight).
Anyway I found a great shop that sells "Authentic Japanese Ware", as per the business card. They can be found at two locations... prepare to copy over...

I picked up a shinto shrine, a "boys day" yumi and tachi set and a pair of Canvus soled Tabi for $US20. Not the lot just the tabi were $20! They do not have a catalogue, but will mail order to Oz so I cant see any problem with other states. They may well have mainland stores if you drop them a line.
