i´ve a question concerning the global ime and photoshop. is there any possibility to write a text with the ime and have it transfered to photoshop, perhaps by saving it as an image previously ?

You might try the same question in Binary Budo. The reason I say that is that it is mostly bibliophiles who post here.

Hi Karsten.

You can write Japanese with global IME directly in photoshop from version 6.
In version 5.5 I used another encoding, can't remember if it was JIS or any other, when pasting the Japanese text in photoshop.

For exporting Japnese in different encodings I have used the JWPce, which is a freeware that you can find here: http://www.physics.ucla.edu/~grosenth/japanese.html

I hope this helps.
