As a beginner and japanese-guru-wannabe the internet is never ending source of knowledge. At least the when you want to learn reading and, to som extent, writing japanese. When it comes to speaking, well that's another thing...

Anyway, I've found some links that I find useful or interesting, but I'm sure I haven't found all the gems on the internet. So I thought if I began with my links, the rest of you could add yours. How about that, am I a genious or what! (No, I DON'T want to hear the answer... let me have my 15 minutes right now..)

Here are my links:
Japanese - English Dictionary (http://enterprise.dsi.crc.ca/cgi-bin/j-e/tty/dict) - you can search with english words, romaniized japanese, hiragana, katakana and kanji.
KanaFlash (http://www.graycastle.com/projects/flash/) - a perfect way to learn hiragana and katakana, I'm just waiting for the Kanjiflash :p
Japanese Language Tips (http://www.knowledgehound.com/topics/japanese.htm) - actually a link with links
The Japanese Page (http://www.thejapanesepage.com/) - with kanji dictionary besides other stuff
Japanese Writing (http://members.aol.com/writejapan/index.htm) - a writing tutorial
Learn Japanese (http://www.georgetown.edu/users/caplanj/index.html) - great for learning to write hiragana and katakana!

Well that's my collection...

Whilst I have used Jeffrey's Japanese - English dictionary before, I recommend Jim Breem's WWWJDic personally; It has a very pleasant interface, has several methods of searching for Kanji, and provides animated-gif's of the stroke order for many kanji.
