Greeting budo world (new to submitting messages, so please excuse and feel free to correct any mistakes). I recently graduated from basic training and I'm about to move to San Diego where I am to be based. Approximately a year ago I began in an aikijusutsu dojo and I am anxiously looking foward towards training again. Can anyone throw a lifeline to a shipmate and recomend either an aikijutsu or aikido school?

Chiba Sensei is in San Diego. He's aikido, but definitely on the more "functional" end of the spectrum. Your jump from aikijujutsu will be a small one. I don't have an address, but since he's one of the true "lighthouses" in the whole budo world, he won't be hard to find.

I strongly suggest you see Walter Muryasz of Seishin Aikido in San Diego.

And yet another option: http://www.dojoofthefourwinds.com/

James Williams and Co. do a fine job, and teach Aiki-Jujutsu...
