Zen Macrobiotics links fingers and toes to major organs, through meridians. Further, the system states there are no accidents, i.e., if you stub a toe or nick a finger, it is because you needed to stimulate the co-responding organ. Well I just about amputated the index finger on my left hand, washing a chef's knife, right after sharpening it, duh. I was making a kicking Vietnamese seafood stew. Anyway, it got me thinking, I mean if I got cut, say shoulder to waist, or decapitated, would it be my fault? Would it be good for me? Would it stimulate an unhealthy organ, and make me whole again? You are all sanpaku. LOL!

You know I really knew it wasn't an accident the minute I cut myself. The meridian reference is only half in jest. I only know after a painful wake up call, I'm a little more focused today than yesterday.
