Hi Will,

Long time no talk.

This is pretty interesting. Humor aspects aside, he's using a picture of Bernie Lau that was taken in the 1986 without permission. Oh well, it's entertainment value is pretty good. What's bad is people believing this is good stuff.

Hiya Neil,

It has been a while.

That site with the picture of Bernie Lau is a Black Belt Mag archive site, so is it possible they own that picture?

I just wish they had provided instructions on making one of those cool "Budo Balloons" in the first pic.

Maybe this pic should go to Budo Fun?

Hey again Will,

Bernie still has the rights to the photos as I understand, permission given to Black Belt to use in the article.

That picture looks like something the stunt men on Star Wars were working on for the fight with Darth Maul and Qui Gon.

Gee, I wonder what Relnick Sensei would think of this site? This McCabe guy is just down the road in Tacoma.

Wow...Guys...now that's what I call digging for dirt!

I don't know the authors or any of the folks involved with the Black Belt article but did you see what the date on that thing was? Here's the URL...

September 1992! I don't know who dug this thing out of the trash. All in all, I guess it was entertaining reading though.

Have a great New Year everyone!

Thanks to the links provided above, I have to whipe my desk off now....due to the fact that I spit green tea everywhere laughing.

Thank you.

Well Neil, it might be a bit boring over on this side of the mountains, but at least we don't have many like that to deal with over here
