I was wondering if anyone knows where you could get either a yari shinai or naginata shinai? Do they even make these? Ive seen naginata shinai before, but not yari. Weve made our own naginata shinai out of regular shinai parts and a wood shaft, but they didnt last lond in sparing. Ive had one break over my head, and the other my leg :) Any help would be much appreciated.

I know where to get naginata stuff, but it's near Ikebukuro eki in Tokyo.

For North America, I'm sure Nathan Scott will know more and better, but for naginata shinai, just ask anyone that gets kendo supplies directly from the manufacturer(s). They're made by the same companies, but almost no one keeps them in stock or bothers to advertise them because the market is so small. I've never seen yari shinai. The closest I've seen is those ones with the padded ball instead of a blade. Does anyone know how they make the bayonets for jukendo competition?
