Anyone have an idea where I might be able to find one of those cool sleeveless gi tops?

Thanks!

You might want to contact Johnny down at the Cobra Kia Dojo in California.

Or you can search on Google (http://www.google.com) for Dogis and see if you come up with something better than Custom Gi (http://www.ashleybeck.com/page21.html) these people have a broader selection of wacky gis than Century.

If you mean a jimbaori (vest to wear over the gi) try bujin. If you just want a sleeveless gi I would look for a pair of scissors.

I wouldn't be surprised if Century or Kwon had sleeveless stuff--they both seem to have a decent amount of competition gear. I think Kwon would be better quality. They're international, based in Germany I think. Should be www.kwon.de and there's probably an English/American mirror.

Also I used to get AWMA catalogs all the time, and they had some sleeveless stuff. Not karategi necessarily, but southern kung-fu uniforms are sleeveless. Maybe that's not what you're looking for, not sure. They're usually a satin or rayon or silk, something like that...
