Japanese Police/Diplomatic Security

Hi all, wasn't sure where to post this so I started here. Anyway, I am interested in what arts the Japanese National Police/Self-Defense Force/Diplomatic Security types study. I have heard from some that the Metropolitan Police in Tokyo are made to study kendo and at least one other art.

Also, does anyone know where I can begin to find information on the Japanese intelligence service - Kampei Tai? Thanks in advance.

Look under the spellings "Kempei Tai" and "Kempeitai" on Google. Books have been written on the subject.
