This site divides opinions: http://www.geocities.com/jimnoran

So, there's not much to go on, but how do you guys FEEL about this site in question? I mean does it SEEM right or do you spot obvious problems right off the bat?

What is interesting to me is that the site does not seem to try to make a buck or really anything else that would suggest fraud.

What do you think?

Well, his teacher's secrets of ninjutsu is safe with me because when I clicked on the ninjutsu techniques, all I got was "this page does not exist" so his secret ninja techniques and his teacher's name will be safe until he puts up another page explaining why he can't say anything.

Yeah, everybody seems to cling to that. I got the impression that the info will be available when he gets it done. It does not seem like a business, more like a hobby to me, so I would think it is understandable. I have not seen him advertize his site anywhere so there seems to be no harm it being still under construction. Me and a friend of mine stumbled onto the site when searching the net for terms such as ninjutsu, shinobijutsu etc. Now we are trying to find out how other people (the koryu people who are a bit more knowledgeable about the related history) feel about the site we stumbled on but nobody seems to have anything constructive to say. Sad.

Somehow the fact that the guy has not finished writing his stuff yet, seems to be some sort of a counter-argument against him which I cannot really understand. It is not as if he advertized openly for his "secret" ninjutsu classes and outrageous fees like other so-called frauds.

The site, even it is not finished, does contain description about the history and lineage of the ryu, and some kind of kata or so explained. What I really was after, was that someone with some experience in the koryu arts/history would read the stuff and tell if the history is totally screwed or if the techniques are something that would not happen in feudal Japan. So far I have only gotten replies that add nothing to this question.
