Where can I buy a bamboo wakizashi?

I need one to practice nito ryu. With a wooden shoto, there is more chance that I'd hurt my partner. I have seen one, but it was going for $68 and I didn't feel like paying that much since shinai go for about $25. Thanks.

Try Kiyota company here in the states, Eguchi, or Mugendo Budogu on the internet. I seem to remember Kiyota company carrying them.

This kind of thing is typically only found in Japan or from direct improrters of buki from Japan (like the companies I just mentioned). As such, you will have to pay whatever they ask if you want a wakizashi shinai.
