Hey Everyone. I have to appologize up front about this because I have asked this question on other boards that you might read. The question is are there any Senseis or dojos (training in battojutsu and kenjutsu) in the area around Claremont, California? I sort of assume there are because I am close enough to LA. Thanks everyone and I hope this doesn't bother anyone too much.

There are several sanctioned Suio Ryu Study Groups in Southern California. One is in Anaheim, the other in San Diego.

Here is our Website:

Peer Halperin teaches Nakamura-ryu in San Diego. I believe Tony Alvarez and James Williams both teach in that area also. Don't know about Kenjutsu, but I am sure there is some Shinkendo and probably Eishin Ryu as well.
