Bruce, don't be so hard on him. Sometimes when I am up late, I see the first 20+ threads last responded to by this individual. Half of those, started by same.

If it wasn't for this forum, he would not have a life and what would the wanna-be clique in-crowd do without a leader? There would be what ..... five or six lost souls wandering aimlessly through life.

Please .... don't think it is a personal attack upon John ... I don't.

This is an observation, and a bit of humor upon the human conditon.

Each human being displays their flaws, their strengths, their hopes, their dreams in their behavior, and in this case .... their posts.

Some people get emotionally involved. They, the seeker of attention, become the pawns of comedy in their attempt to become serious, while others in their profuse posting, like myself, attempt to understand the comedy and blend with the harmony of the Universe before we become the eternal butt to comedy.

If it is confusing, then it is time to understand the good nature of comedy verses the mean spirited nature of the hard lessons. Most of us refer to the masters of our individual art, but many of us who are children of a gentler kinder age have not experienced of understand the times or societys of those times. A small glimpse of those times comes in not just the movies, but the comedy that makes fun of those times.

The values of sexual innuendo, the values of a wink and smile verses the modern picture of a inflatable sex toy ... hmmmm ... burlesque humor is not quite the same as XXX humor, is it?

I don't particularly feel prudish about all this sexual thread content or the fact that the human race has an overriding perogative to breed and appropriate which seems to take quite a few years to understand or get control of to put it in its proper place.

But didn't we have a little talk about NOT going into this subject a few months ago, Mr. Lindsey? Not just for myself, or the mistake of other members who would post childish humor of sexual content in the general threads, but for all members?

In my small way, the humor of the Marx Brothers is about the only way I can gently bring about a good humored look at what is happening as of late.

Don't get me wrong, I understand it is as much the members fault as anyone. If we, the members, can not be adult about it, then who?

The law and order of each society is a thin blue line between chaos and order. This line of law and order is generally maintained by a few individuals who prey upon certain amounts of fear and discomfort for the general population, who are the real keepers of law and order.

Each person in society determines if they will keep order, or if they will buck the system until the responses of the citizens and their means of enforcement force punishments upon the law breakers.

Each member is responsible for maintaining behavior in a responsible, orderly manner befitting adult interaction.

Maybe I am getting used to the common behavior patterns of some of the common lawbreakers and in the back of my mind I want to see them ....... GROW UP .... become part of the establishment not the children raging against the machine.

Guys ... you are now .... becoming the machine.

Help John Lindsey out, huh? Admit when you are wrong, learn, change, interact, and grow into your role as better persons affecting a better community / society ... will ya?

You know who you are .... Over thirty ... and gettin' OLDER!

For our younger readers .... enjoy being who you are ... the age you are right now. YOUR time will come soon enough to take over and ......laugh at the older wiser you who will dispense wisdom while trying to make a better community.

Obviously this is John Lindseys E-Budo, but we all contribute to make it what it is or isn't ... I just thought we, the members, could a better job than we have ........ as of late?

I noticed that too. The forum seems to have changed over time. Most of the topics used to be more directly related to MA. Now, many seem to be started and responded to by the same person, on just about any topic. It's just kind of weird. But, most times, I just refuse to open any threads he initiates.

Guys and Gals,

Let me give you some advice on using pics. First of all, I pay for the bandwidth around here. That means everything going down the pipes to the internet. I prefer it when pics are used to augment your reply, not to be the whole reply. Of course, the Men's Room is the reverse, but I don't mind that kind of bandwidth. I don't care if you think the pic is a "zen like" response, because it is going to end up in the "zen like" trash. :)

Secondly, pics (and even big sigs) make a page longer, and thus takes more time to scroll down it. Some folks like to have a quick read.

I do not mind using pics when they are used correctly. I often use one when I am putting on my Moderator Dogi and need to draw attention to what I am saying, like in this case...
