Correct translation for "nigiri"

"Nigiri" means grip. Another term that's used for gripping, or method(s) of holding (especially weapons) is "tenouchi."

Arnold:

Just don't say "O-nigiri". That's Japanese for "rice ball". (from the verb "nigiru", to grip, referring to the process of squeezing the rice together to form a ball).

Thanks for the advice and warning about that...

This way I won't do Honte Nigiri, Gyakute Nigiri nor Ketsugo Nigiri with a rice ball...hehehehehhe. :laugh:
