Go see that movie! It's money well spent. How many of us can identify with Mr. Incredible in this forum especially! It was hilarious and had classic thrilling action like the best of the James Bond movies of the 1960s.

Now I'm taking my students and seeing it again next week.

I really liked the neighbor kid on the tricycle.

That whole sequence, starting with Mr. Incredible squeezed into his little crappy car, had me busting a gut. What a great movie, dahling.

Me too! He was just so googly eyed. The pacing of the action sequences was brilliant. What I don't get are the one or two negative movie reviews! There was one lukewarm review in the New York Times that was so stupid. I find that People Magazine has the most reliable reviews.

Plus I love the visit w/ Edna the designer, a conflation of Edith Head, Karl Lagerfeld, Azzedine Alaia, and every short queer Artiste/Designer who ever lived.

My 5-year-old son can't wait for me to take him to see it. Last week browsing through a toy/gift catalogue with him, I was amazed at the amount of Incredibles toys and other paraphernelia that are already available.

Sure there were parts of the incredibles that were pretty awesome. but they only barely made the up for other parts which were extremely lame. for example, the mom's speech to the daughter before leaving the cave. Holy s**t was that lame.
