For those of you who remember my "Advice" thread this is a little more to it.
At work last night I heard that the girl there had broken up with her boyfriend. Form the sound of things it seemed that they had broken up for good. Now, I told myself that if that ever happend I'd definitely ask her out. Well, I thought I had my chance today. I would have done it last night, but her line was busy so I couldn't. I tried today. When I got the nerve to ask her at that particular moment I had brought her to the side a bit and mentioned that I heard that they were broken up. Before I could even ask her out she just told me that they got back together. Man, was I mad after that.

That's a pretty common line chicks use to brush guys off. Resign yourself to the liklihood that she just isn't in to you.

Try the tried and true artificial lure - just pretend you are a rich jerk while out searching for poon and never let them find out you are just scamming.

That'd work well, except it's hard for me to be a jerk.

The jerk part comes when you never call them again, block their number, and they find out you gave them a false address/name/career :D

Forget about it, she sounds like a pain, look around and get another girl friend who will love you properly and if this other Dorris comes near you just Karate chop her in the eyebrows*
*maybe not that harsh but you get the drift

Damn tough break. Personally, I would laugh at your misfortune, but you seem alright so I will snigger inanely.
I will send you a link of a dating service for you. It is international, but the pictures are worth the look alone.
But hey, if it is any consolation, I just lost a relationship the other week. So any room in the boat?

I just came out of a relationship about a week ago. Dedicate more time to training now, eh? :)

Not really. School's taking care of that. I can only go once a week until the end of this semester.

While you're playing your Playstation, I'll be doing calculus IV two days a week from 6 - 8.40.

Perhaps he gets so drunk that a girl resembles a calculator?

I think it is the other way around.
Matt + his job - his money x the huge ammounts of sex = me getting a new wardrobe.
See calculation can be female too.
