What's all this Last Legend has come up with abput "Cyro Tempering" for their blades?

Is it useful, or a load of baloney that just adds to the bill?

Also, has anyoneseen/heard much about the new Last Legend range, not yet released, ie. are they much better or in need of serious imp.

T'would be most helpful...

From my limited knowledge Cryo Tempering has to do with controling the length of the martenzite crystals and is something that is done at the manufacturing of the metal. If they are making their blades from pre-fabricated steel (which they probably are) their claim to Cryo Tempering is just an attempt to justify a High ticket price.
To my knowledge if the Cryo tempering is done after a certain point it is meaningless.

Here's a conversation at Sword Forum by several different sword makers and metallurgists discussing the cryo issue. It's interesting, but there is apparently not a lot of hard evidence that there is much worth to LL's whole 'cryo tempering' deal.
