Although I have very limited time with which to practice, I still have an interest in Japanese arts, and am curious if anyone is teaching jo in either the Pleasanton or Central Valley area of California.

I don't know where p;aces ar ein California but here's some info about a club- they will teach the No Bori Ryu jo...
Dojo
Description:
A traditional dojo, run by husband and wife team, Dr. Raul
Castillo and Linda Castillo. Emphasis on Kata training, basics,
and living life on a spiritual path. Shorinji-ryu Karate,
aiki-jujutsu, and basic self defense skills taught. Adult co-ed,
women only, and youth classes. Advanced class with Kobudo
(weapon) training of sais, tonfa, jo, and bo.
