Roar, I'm afraid this has cemented my not so high opinion of kendoka. They cannot be particularly critical as consumers, what with all the ludicrous stuff that's marketed towards them (remember the kendo robot?). I would not be surprised to see a special device for picking one's nose during shiai, too!

I'm sorry, what was your problem with the kendo robot? That thing was cool. If I could, I'd order at least eight. Not for training, mind you, but just to follow me around in public.

if they brought out something useful, like an underarm protector for stopping beginners trapping your nipple between the do and the shinai I'd be interested... :D

What would kendo be without the occasional uncontrolled beginner whipping under the armpit? Reeaaly wakes you up. But nipple? Stay of the lager this xmas miztah hamilton. :D

Er slightly more pleasurable than it currently is? And I've been "nippled" by an errant kensen before. It really is as bad as it sounds.

When I first started Kendo, my sensei ot me in the nipple. Lets just say I had to take a little break.

A month ago, I cut down an incoming Do. and was hit rather hard on the inside of the left knee. I got him with Men, but my insides were white with pain. Bad technique, I deserved the ugly bruise. :(
