Gun???

Who carrys a gun? and WHY?

If the dude gets a gun within your reach, he's done, unless he shoots you before you can react. If I dude is out of your range, then your screwed, and if you try to pull yours out, your dead. So why bother?

I think there are many other reasons for carrying a gun besides this limited example.

Usually the owners of the gun...

and WHY?

So that they can use it if they need it...

If the dude gets a gun within your reach, he's done, unless he shoots you before you can react.

You are quiet confident...

If I dude is out of your range, then your screwed, and if you try to pull yours out, your dead. So why bother?

You have to much confidence in the attacker, just because he points a gun at you does NOT mean:

A. It is a real gun.

B. That it is loaded.

C. That he knows how to use it.

D. That you are not capable of taking cover (remember cover does NOT equal concealment), or even to escape out of his shooting range/angle.

E. That he is emotional and mentally ready to use it against you.

F. That you can not distract him and pull your own firearm.

D. Maybe you are right and now you are DEAD. :shot:

I have to agree with "Mark". You are creating boundaries to your mind and actions by not considering all reasons and possibilities. This way of thinking will prove you right in that you will be dead.
