Kamon Help?

Hi!

I'm looking for the original kamon (family crest) of the Uesugi Family, before Kenshin. Did they use the same as Kenshin later did (The kanji "Bi" from "Bishamonten") ?

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Joachim,
the major crest of the Uesugi family was a Mon of two sparrows, decorated by bamboo.

I looked through all of the historical literature in english and german and most of the japanese history books at our university institute, but was unable to find it.
