I was wondering if anybody here knows about the laws and regulations in the US, regarding "authentic looking 6mm BB guns". E.g. Exact models of a HK USP 10mm, Glock 17 or even an model of the HK MP 5 (manual, gas or electrical types).
Are they allowed in the US ??? What classification do they fall under? Federal or state?

Any help would greatly be apprecitated...

I'm guessing it varies not only state by state, but also city by city. And without even looking, I wouldn't try to introduce one to New York, California, or Massachusetts. And even in New Mexico, if a cop sees one under your jacket, I sure hope you don't fit any profiles du jour or you could be a mistake.
