Can anyone recommend a decent Hakama that doesn't bleed ink onto your GI. I've got a couple of Judo Mizuno Gi's and I don't want black knees.
Thanks

Bleeding dye can be a real problem with natural indigo (blue) dye, but I've never had that problem with black hakama; they seem to all be made these days with stable synthetic dyes. Or maybe I've just been lucky in my brand choices. I've had a Bujin Design (as mentioned by pcnorton) heavy twill blend hakama, and a couple of Japanese-made Tetron fabric (as mentioned by yoj) hakama in both blue and black. One of the latter was ordered through Bokunando, and the other through my dojo so I don't know the brand or supplier.
HTH.

If you need to wear the trousers from your gi under your hakama, why not buy a pair of black ones?
