I have seen now my appliances that I am taking to Japan are convertable for the volts, so I don't need a transformer.
Someone had mentioned that the plug configuration in parts of Japan are similar to US/Canada if not the same except for the one plug these days that has a biger spade to it, which can be filed.

Has anyone been to Kashiwa Annex hotel, can they tell me what plugs are there
Also an opinion on the hotel if possible too.

Never been to the hotel, but the plugs would be the same as the rest of Japan. Two socket-type, in line with each other and with no third (To make the triangle shape) plug.
Can't say I've ever really noticed the plug formations in hotels though..But it's in Japan..So would use those.
Regards.
