I keep seeing this on the inside of a United Nations watch tower door on news footage.

What the heck does it mean?

I did some googling and found it repeated, but no explaination as to what it means.

Hi there.

I'm prety sure what you saw is a Sikh slogan of some sorts. What you said about it being affixed outside a UN building seems to support the idea. A few hits on Google should put you in the good track to solve the mistery.
