Has anyone here used the judo dogis from blitzsport
http://www.blitzsport.com/prodinfo.asp?number=03-09
Any opinions on them, i've mostly used heavyweight karate dogi before, so is there anything i should do differently in regards to washing/drying etc?

Hi,
I've had several blitz judogi. They are very good value and last quite well. I find the Olympic weight suits a bit too thick and prefer the Gold label ones for both training and contest use.
I find with the very thick ones that the collars wear quite quickly because they are so thick that the outer layer of material is stretched too much which is why I prefer the Gold label.

It doesn't matter who made the suit!
When you do newaza it will get pulled about and may come undone or out of the belt.

Ive noticed that the middle weight Gi come undone far less then the lightweights, still every 5 minutes its a pain to redress yourself! :)

I don't think I've had a Judogi from Blitz but I've had a number of their other suits. I find the Silver Tournament Gi (the mid-price white Karate gi) keeps its shape better than the Black Diamond (the equivalent in black) and the trouser ties stay tied better for some reason (or maybe I'm just fatter now).
I got some of the cotton freestyle pants with the stripe and they shrunk horribly in the wash.
