I was just speaking with Coffman Sensei this morning. He just got back from Okinawa on his regular trips there each year. He informed me that Nishihara Sensei passed away about a month ago. Nishihara Sensei was deshi of Soken Hohan O'Sensei. Now he is with his Sensei and looking down on us. I hope we do not dissapoint them in our handing down what we have been taught. Sensei Gringas, my heart goes out to you and your family, as I know you were close to him. If there may be anything I can do for you please do not hesitate to ask.

My family and I have also been mourning the loss of a great sensei. Sensei Holman was a great man and a wonderful teacher. His many lessons will always be remembered.
