Hello all,
I recentlt attained Shodan in Karate, Aikido and Iaido and am looking for a high quality cotton black belt. Could anyone possibly point me in the right direction please?
Best regards,

Normally in Iaido one doesn't wear a colored belt as a sign of rank (although your particular school might). More important is that an Iaido obi should be wider and longer than the traditional obi used in Karatedo and Aikido, for proper support of the sword.
That said, one supplier I know of on your side of the pond is here: http://www.ninecircles.co.uk/items.asp?CatID=32
They carry both Karate/Aikido obi and Iai obi.
I don't have first-hand experience with them, but it's a start.
HTH.
Oh, and congratulations for reaching shodan. (Now the real learning can begin. ;) )

Thank you ever so much indeed Brian!
Yes, ninecircles are a good supplier... and you are right about Iaido sash as opposed to belts.
I must admit... with the club I am with, when you reach Shodan there is the possibilty of becoming extreemely lazy. Fortuitously I have a friend within the club, experienced in Karate, Aikido and also Kyusho that is more than willing to help tutor me past Shodan and thus avoid becoming lazy!
