Yeah, I know. Another posting looking for a dojo.

I looked in Google for keywords "martial arts north carolina", "budo north carolina", then, I looked individually for aikido (found a few of those), ninpo (about two or three), kendo (one, real far), and so forth.

I looked here in using the "search" function for the terms "dojo north carolina" and "martial arts norh carolina".

What I'm looking for is instruction in a traditional budo, or bujutsu. It could be a weapon art, even. I just can't seem to find anything that's not MMA, or BJJ around my area (Fort Bragg).

Charlotte is about the only place that's not practical for me as it is about three and a half hours away. If any of you have any information, I would greatly appreciate it. If you don't feel like posting the information on here, please use the PM option. Thanks again, and I appologize for imposing on you guys.

Dan DeProspero sensei and Jackie DeProspero sensei teach traditional Japanese kyudo in North Carolina. Not sure how they are about taking new students. For more information you can check out www.kyudo.com

They have also co-authored two excellent books on kyudo. If I were in the area I would look them up.

You could also look up Elmar Schmeisser. He teaches karate and some sword.
