Hi
Does anyone know the Toden ryu?
Are they still around?
If, where?
Does anyone have information(History, Kata)?

You mean 卜傳流剣術?
It's read 'Bokuden ryu kenjutsu'.
I do know it, but am afraid someone's going to ask me why they don't use straight swords! ;->

Ohh, it's read Bokuden ryu, then everything is clear for me. I only came across with this in latin letters not in Kanji. In Kanji I would be able to read the name, but so...
Thank you Lance

Not sure I can tell you much.
It is primarily (only?) still practiced in northern Honshu in Aomori City - one family are essentially the primary practitioners, they also teach or practice at a kendo dojo, I think. I have a bud who takes kendo there.
I've seen them a couple of times, nothing is really striking IIRC, but I'm not an expert. This clip shows them, it may be the father / son. I think this is one of the more advanced kata - I do recall (offhand w/o my notes) they have a lot of very close counters.
