The spell check does not work for me. It is also that way on other forums, to include all EZ board forum. Is there a plugin, and download, or something which will help?

If anyone needs the spell check badly, I am one.

BTW: I also get an "error message" (undetermined) which asks if I wish to continue.

The spell checker uses java script to open a new window that links to a different website (www.spellchecker.net), it then passes the text of your message to the new site for checking.

Some browsers can be configured to restrict this, as it is a feature of many porn sites to open many multiple windows (they do this to increase the hit count and so increase the revenue payable to the initiating site.). Check the settings of your browser to see if it allows java script to open new windows.

Aside from that I can't really offer any more assistance.

Other than losing all security, I've checked and everything is enabled which should be. I've also got java 2 runtime, but it runs in the background.

Thanks anyway Neil.:(

PS: Yes, those awful porn sites give me the willies everytime I can't close the windows. Makes one not want to subscribe.:)

BTW: This is what I get in the browser bar:

about:blankhttp://www.spellchecker.net/

This comes with an error concerning a character and asks If I still want to receive scripts on that page.

Even when testing on their site, I get an "unspecified" error notice. Code is Zero. John?
