Thanks for this. The instructor seems to have done a bit of fencing in his time, given his left-hand-behind-and-above-left-shoulder stance.

Interesting that it was all metal weapons training - no wood for these guys!

I believe the balding instructor is Francois D'Eliscu, of US Army fame.

Thx for sharing the clip.

It's always interesting to see the evolution of combat.
That knife fighting is definitely fencing-oriented. Quite a difference with what they teach in the army nowadays.
