As you have been helpful in the past when things literary popped up, perhaps you could help me again.

I have acquired a rare text I would like to duplicate and sell. It was published in 1915. How can I assure myself of copyright status?

Try http://www.templetons.com/brad/copyright.html . As I understand things, copyright lasts 50 years after the author dies, but laws do change over time.
