Jubei_Musashi,
The World is a very big place... and e-Budo has members from all over it. You are looking for Iai training in Birmingham... Birmingham in which country? USA? UK? Australia? Abyssinnia? (OK. I made the last one up!).
If you are in the UK, you could try checking out the list of Dojo on the BKA website - http://www.kendo.org.uk/standard/dojolist.htm - I believe the Masamune Dojo teaches Seitei Iai and MJER and is based in Birmingham. However, I cannot help you if you mean Birmingham in some other country...
Also, can you please sign with your real name, as it is one of the forum rules... and, at least in my case, it is difficult to take a post seriously when it purports to come from Jubei_Musashi (or some other psudonym/nick) without a real name to tie it to...
Regards,
Chris.

Have you tried contacting other aikido dojos like http://24.12.212.64/home.html. to see if they teach iaido.

You could try:
http://listserv.uoguelph.ca/archives/iaido-l.html
or
http://ejmas.com and write to Kim A. Taylor and others of the Iaido-L list.
or
I would give you email addresses but I assume you've done your work and used the search engines, such as Google (http://www.google.com) (preferred) or
Dogpile.com (http://www.dogpile.com)
***
The others are correct about real full names here. If Musashi is your name, then tell us so, otherwise please sign your posts. For ease of use, go to your preferences and put in a signature in the signature box, OK?:) Thanks.

Jubei_Musashi,
I happen to be reviewing the Shinkendo Federation Honbu Dojo Site and they are about as close as to iaido; I think you're going to get in Alabama. You can check out there website at:

Chris,
Thanks for the free plug - you got your facts right! We study Seitei Iai, MJER, Jo, and when possible (sensei availability), Niten Ryu.
Are you an Iai practitoner? If so, where do you study?
Regards
Scott

I have only been doing Iai for a few months now (ahhh... bless a beginner!)... I'm studying Seitei Iai/Jo/eventually MSR at Seishinkan (not the Edinburgh one, completely unrelated AFAIK ;)) Dojo in Ealing under Alan Nash, and enjoy it thoroughly!
Regards,
Chris.
