    Default Koryu in Virginia?

I was wondering if anyone here knows of Koryu being taught in the Va Beach area? Any info provided is appreciated. Thank you.

There used to be a Hakko Ryu Jujutsu dojo there (I know, not strictly koryu), and I know of one very good aikido dojo in the process of starting up. Other than that, I remember a lot of TKD, sport karate, etc as well as some modern/NHB/Brazilian 'jujitsu' places.

I don't _know_ of any koryu in the area, but suspect there's probably something. You might sign onto the iaido list (http://listserv.uoguelph.ca/archives/iaido-l.html) and ask around. The list covers far more than just iai and there are some very knowledgeable and helpful folks there.
