But I would also modify the training so that I did not expose my students to unnecessary risks (i.e. let somebody else lead the full contact sparring or whatever)

Ditto. I know this sounds contrary to what I posted in question #2. But I would also be honest about it, and would respect the choices of the students, regardless of whatever they may be, because I would know where they are coming from. I would also modify the training to avoid putting others in potential contact. I think I would be a little more iffy about teaching kids, however, for many of the same reasons posted in #2.Originally posted by Mike Williams
