Default Sad News: Saito Shihan Passed Away

I have the sad duty to report to you that Morihiro Saito Shihan passed away this afternoon from complications of cancer.

    I am sad beyond telling.

I am glad, however, that I was able to train with him at least a few times. I urge you all to take every opportunity to train with those that received the Founder's teaching first hand. They're few and not getting any younger.

    Sincerely,
    Greg Jennings

YAMANTAKA : I just got this information from Stanley Pranin. We join all Iwama people and the Aikido community in a feeling of great sorrow for such a loss.

    Default Goodbye Saito Sensei

My profound condolences to all those who knew M. Saito Sensei (Iwama Ryu Aikido). He will be sorely missed in the Aikido world. He passed away early Monday morning. Keep Saito Sensei's family in your prayers today.

    Very Respectfully,
    Glenn Marquay
