Yeah those pics up above need to be edited out, they are giving me about 5" worth of "white space" on the right hand side of the window.Originally posted by kenkyusha

I hate it when a few karateka look dumb like that, and give other karateka a bad name. Those pics are so dumb, that they're hilarious.

Damn I made the KKKK thread
In my case here is an example of how the hand actualy gets to the hip.

Yes it feels a bit strange at first. But who are we to question it.
Not much different to pulling the left out on a right punch. Minus the tension in the left hand and shoulder is saves getting the left shoulder, arm and leg cut off as you attack.
Its a fundmental movement. If you use a saya the hand can grip lightly and pull too.

Wait...hold on....no reason to cut off my head...(so put those sharp things away).
I posted that pic as an example of where the hand is usually placed
and as a GOOD EXAMPLE!!
That clip was fabulous, BTW....the sheer speed and timing was really, really good.
OK just to make it clear I posted that pic as a GOOD EXAMPLE and not a KKKK. I am waiting for my pics to pop up on here sometime soon....however.....

I'm going to take a guess here, but I don't think that guys elbow should be like that. Shouldn't his arm be straighter?

I am closing this thread down. Way to much bandwidth. I will probably delete posts and pictures that do not apply.
