The most experience jo practicioner currently living would be Nishioka Tsuneo (in his 80s somewhere I believe). I have no idea for hanbo.

Nishioka sensei is heading towards his 78th birthday. He often is about 10 (when watching Star Wars)...and then seems absolutely ageless when he has a jo or bokuto in his hands.

Didn't Nishioka-sensei take a few decades off in his training?

    Greetings!

A wild guess on hanbojutsu would have to be someone from one of the Kuki arts... The Kuki arts are very rich in the use of the hanbo.
