I was quite happy to find myself in the top .48%, though that doesn't include anything other than salary income.

I found the heavy-handed "give to the poor" schtick to be annoying as well.

Socialist/Communist propaganda...I refuse to believe that there are only 107,500 and some people richer than me. That is ridiculous. I have 60 or better clients who make significantly more than me. I wouldn't send the f**ckers a penny even if I was twice as well off as I am now just because of their importunate, offensive, manipulative approach. I'll bet only Democrats and people of French origin send them anything

Not to mention, the math is flat out WRONG. I entered $50,000. It told me to donate one hour of salary which it estimated at about $34! Do the math, $34 per hour is over $70,000 per year!

Then they have that absurd 'wealth gap' idea. As if there is just some pool of money and I've knocked millions of people out of my way to get my hands on more than I need.

The reason there's a wealth gap, is because some people in some countries have spent generations developing the tools for creating wealth and being productive, while others squander resources by limiting freedom and enterprise. The wealth gap would nearly disappear if enough people understood the moral foundation for profit and money.

It's so sad. I guess it's easier to claim that it's all chance and we won life's lottery. So give it back... OR ELSE.

Just on Long Beach Island there are over ten thousand people who multimillion dollars homes at the beach and another home somewhere else, so those numbers are absolutely ridiculus. There must be over 100,00 0 people who come to NJ, alone, who meet this criteria.

Did anyone try to see what the scale was? I did.

It was set in quarters to $400, $800, $1600, and anyone making up to $10000 was in or near the poor of the world, while the top ten percent or near ten percent were jammed into the top of the scale with $100,000 crossing the top of the scale.

Considering the lifestyle and expenses of just my little town, I don't think under $30,000 is enough for the bare necessitys, these days. If you are making less than $20, 000 you better renting a room with some family member, cause with the way the infrastructure is raising its charges for necessitys, you ain't never gonna be free, either financially or literally.

Wealth is relative - for the amount that counts as welfare in The Netherlands you live like a king in Thailand. So, while someone in Bangkok might earn $3 per hour, that would be comparable by earning $17 per hour in Amsterdam.
So I'm not all that rich. Or they are not all that poor.

What masterful marketing! Of course using the ENTIRE worlds population (including newborn to elderly, non-working types), cannot be accepted as an accurate comparison of wealth or earnings. These guys are working on the guilt of the witless.
