    Default DVD recommendation

    Hey there guys, can any of you recommend a good Aikido dvd/vhs? I need a video that shows you how to do the basics - something I can refer to when I'm practicing at home. I was told to get Mitsugi Saotome: Principles of Aikido -is this any good?

    I would recommend Yamada Sensei's:

    Aikido: The Power and the Basics Vol. 1,2,3

    Available from New York Aikikai website.

    Of course, Your affiliation would be a deciding factor in this.

    hey daniel-san (i've always wanted to say that!)

    i highly recommend this great dvd by tsuneo ando shihan of yoshinkan ryu. it has an interview, clips from his demos and at the end, is step by step basic technique..
