Default Most exotic outpost of Shorinji Kempo?

This thought just struck me recently:
what is the most exotic outpost of Shorinji Kempo?

So here's the question, where is it?

Just to get u an idea, that's what Dave Noble imagined when musing on where our club might be

" Hhmmmm, where would Ade like to spend a week's holidays?

I picture a wooden floor, Grass thatch roof, with open sides. A white sandy beach extends for miles with azure blue sea and white surf on one side, palm trees and coconuts on the other.

Someone blows on a Conch shell. Sleepy heads lift up from the sand, someone falls out of their hammock. Three dudes ride their last breaker in toward shore, "hanging ten". One girl is brushing the sand off her beach mat and turning it inside out, it used to be an Ozaki Dogi.

The barman at the beach bar starts to tidy up the glasses and takes them to the sink, he knows they'll all be back right after training (some of the older ones might sneak away early, as usual, so he lines up the Bacardi bottle and puts some Coke on ice).

As the class all gather, some are chatting about the waves, some are still waking up, some are still trying to get the sand from out of their dreadlocks.

"Like, hey dudes, let's start, OK?"

"Sure Man, let's go for it"

"Woah, hey wait a minute... I can't find my pants."

"No worries, just use your wet-suit Dude"

"Like, hey, let's do some Taiso, 'K?"

Someone slips a James Brown CD in the Boogie Box and the gang start to shake their thangs and thongs to "Get up". The girl in the Dogi is still trying to fit the safety pin that holds the jacket closed (she had an Obi, but it now holds one end of the hammock to the coconut tree). The locals are observing the ritual. They are bemused.

Just then, a Jeepney arrives, covered in tassles, mirrors and a thousand bells. This one carries a rather pale visitor carrying a Do, some mitts, a Manji scroll and a pressed white dogi (his midnight blue 100% wool Hoi is back at the hotel)."
ok, we're in Berlin Not exotic, but rare

PS: Dear Dave, I hope you don't claim any copyright fees, since I like this one so much I intend to spread it further

Feel free. I'm using a Windows Wallpaper that has a view very similar to the one described. It came with the setup files and is titled "Paradise" (if you want to see it, you may already have it).

I was just looking a the WSKO list of federations, etc. Lots of Indonesia, Malaysia... even something in Nepal...

Although there are many people in the world who think that California is the "Promised Land" I see that Israel is now listed too..

    Cool Corfu...

On honeymoon, backpacking around the Greek Islands, with my beautiful wife, in 1994 I taught 3 lessons on the beach at Aegis Giordis outside the bar of the pink paradise hotel!

cost of training was 2 beers per session, and I know that I could've made enough to live there all summer, the interest was massive!

    Beat that for neck!

15 miles from Gulf Shores and the Gulf of Mexico.
Not exotic for me but the Redneck Riviera has it's charms.

UUgghh! Kurt Sensei, you just switched me into Grammar Nazi mode!
"It's" is a contraction of "it is"; the possessive form is "its", without an apostrophe. Put another way, "The Redneck Riviera has it is charms" makes no sense.

Sorry Granma Nazi, but Kurt is not a Sensei (of Shorinji Kempo) but despite his occasional spolling mistek he does earn a living as a teacher. Don't you Kurt?

    Actually you are incorrect.
The possessive form is " its' "; the apostrophe follows.

There you are completely incorrect, Indar. The possessive form does not take an apostrophe anywhere. Viz:
Its and It's - This is perhaps the most confusing aspect of apostrophe usage, but it's really quite easy to determine whether or not an apostrophe belongs:

"It's" is a contraction; it's the shortened form of "it is."
"Its" is a possessive pronoun. We use "its" to indicate possession by something nonhuman, or which has no defined male or female gender.

    For example:

The dog wagged its tail. --The tail belongs to the dog.
Once the can was bent, its lid wouldn't fit properly. --The lid belongs to the can.
The baby wants its bottle. -- The bottle belongs to the baby.
It's a beautiful day. -- It is a beautiful day.

Well if I had to create my own exoctic dojo then this would be my first choice.

My second would be in the Al-Hambra in Granada, Spain, near any of the fountains or reflecting pools.

My third would be in out in a desert on a clear night with lots of stars.

    Aren't you a romantic, Raul?
BTW, is the Swedish ice palace the same place as featured in the James Bond movie, "Die Another Day"?

Ah, so it was Finland, with Iceland used for the car-chase and fight on ice.
    Thank you, David. Truly Noble.
