Default Just had a chat with Dolf Lundgren...

Just to let you guys know that I just bumped into Dulf Lundgren outside my work and had a chat with him about some martial arts, seemed to be pretty down to earth and was pretty cool.

Asked if he was still keeping up with his kyokushinkai which he said he was and told him about E-Budo which he wrote down on a bit of paper which was cool he was filming some action scenes around a Merc.

So all in all, I'm a friend of the stars now...

    Cheers

Shame you can't spell his name.

Not that it's his real name.

    It's a stage name.

Although they claim he was born in 1959 ... which is wrong ... it's what he says to sound yougner ... he was born in 1957.

And the sunshine bus sounds a lot like an ex of mine!

    Cool

Huw, keep your Hans to yourself, willya? "Dolph" is his stage name, and that's fine by me.

Matt, my favorite line of his is from his "Rocky sequel" role --

It is a rather distasteful reference to a vehicle used by associations for disabled people. Sponsored by fundraising organised by the "Variety Club of Great Britain", the Sunshine buses were given to different charity organisations during the Seventies (and still?) to enable a greater freedom for disabled groups to get around.

Seems like this is a similar strain of mild insult to the "window-licking" reference that we've seen occasionally. Not to my taste, but the young folk find it amusing...

Sweet. I ran into Jonathan Frakes once in DC. All he wanted to know was where there was a bar with easy women. I hope Dolph shows up.

Default "Famous" people in the Valley of Hell.

Evidently Jenna Jameson and Mike Tyson both have houses somewhere around here.

But I haven't seen the former anywhere {yet}, and don't really care to see the latter.

    Kinda like our "Short Bus."

Anyone know what a "plank" is?

Or "load of Pants?"(although I'm not sure I want to know that one.)

A plank? Isn't that a piece of fish at Long John Silvers?
