Default We've banned handguns, we've banned knives... how about eggs?

Come on then, tell us that we have the ultimate "Nanny State". Supermarket Giant "Asda" (that's Wal*Mart to you Yanks) has banned egg sales to teenagers in the run-up to Halloween. See here.

To be fair, when was the last time a teenager woke up and said, "Today I make omelets for the family" ...?

I've read of some US cities doing the same around Halloween.

I'm 18, and eggs are a staple food in my diet..
    what a great food...
    eggs for breakfast
    lunch
    dinner
and especially for that meal at like 2 am......we really should make a name for that meal.
They take like 3 minutes to scramble.

    Thanks.

There might exist many teenagers who don't cook for themselves, or shop for food in general, but many more do (I certainly did), and egg is one of my favorite food, and I would have been really pissed off if someone impose stupid laws like that to restrict me just because there are a few black sheep in the crowd.

So no, I don't think it's fair at all.

    Default This is not evil..

Halloween egg regulations have been around for some time. Most carton a week consumers don't even notice. Unless you are trying to stock up, why would you care? Anyway, eggs are harmless. TP is evil.

Is this a government ban, or private businesses choosing with whom to do business? If a government ban, that sucks! If private business, God bless free enterprise!

On monday somebody did $500 worht of damage to my Scion tC with less than 2800 miles on it and I think that is pretty silly unless they are some shady looking kids at 1:00 in the morning or something.

I really like the car overall. My only issue with the car is the fact that it needs an overdrive gear. I don't really car if they do it by adding another gear or just modifing the current ratios and make fifth gear an over drive. I don't do very much expressway driving but this weekend I drove 2.5 hours to go visit somes friends from highschool. When You are doing 75mph it sits around 3800rpms. I still think that for my situation and the cost it was a great deal.

The supercharger is still not available for the tCs.
