Default Translation of Giraldi's article on the Go-no-Kata

Please see this link to the Judo Forum

    http://judoforum.com/index.php?showtopic=6449&st=0#

for a representative translation of the internet article by Gianna Giraldi on the Go-no-Kata and available at the freeBudoWebsite as follows:

    http://www.freebudo.com/articoli/jud...0no%20kata.htm

You need to go to Post #27.

I have tried to keep the translation as faithful as possible to the Italian original, and have not corrected any factual errors in Giraldi's work. Caveat lector, there are some.

The attachment is too big to directly load up onto e-Budo.com.

Mifune's Ura-waza kata will also feature.

    See URL for details.

Default A Go-no-Kata video on the Internet

Please see below for a URL to a video demonstration of the genuine, Kano Go-no-Kata:

The performance in the film is far from perfect but the two Italian judoka in question are to be congratulated for their contribution in making this kata more accessible to all.

I've been advised to use this link instead of the others http://1423.isl-science.com/abstract...e=834879&dz=s6

The three papers are located at the bottom.
