rusty gunto

greetings.

i have a ww2 gunto wich was very rust when first came to me,so i cleaned and restored the most i could but there is a spot were rust always apear.
i cleaned it with sword oil and other ways to get rid of it but the spot apears in more or less a month i also sealed the saya but does't work. wath do you think about it?

anny tips are wellcome.

The problem may be inside the saya. Did you seal exterior or the interior of the Saya? The saya may very well be touching the sword on the spot that is rusting, or it could have a pocket of moisture in that spot.

If you haven't already, I would recommend going over to Sword Forum International and reading up there.
