Sad day!

All I got to say is its a sad day.. Well at lest for me. Actor Pat Morita, who was nominated for an Oscar for his portrayal of Ralph Macchio's mentor Mr Miyagi in The Karate Kid, has died... I remember loving the first time I saw this movie. The first one mind you.. myabe the second... But the student teacher relationship within that movie was true to a Sempi and Kohi ideal. And how many of you out there even tried to catch a fly with chop sticks.. I know I have tried. Here is a link to the artical.... I bow my head in recpect......

Indeed. Ihave to admit that Pat Morita's character of Mr. Miyagi was one of the primary influences on my desire to study true budo. May the lord and bles him and keep him, and thanks Pat Morita for trying to show the world what budo is supposed to be about.
